Everyone is welcome to illuminate a float and join in the fun\, from construction companies decking out a truck in lights\, to a family decorating a hay wagon and everything in between. Parade lineup is at 4pm\, the parade starts at 5pm. To register a spot in the parade\, call the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism at (507) 334-4381. Faribault will truly be dazzling with lights and excitement that night. As the parade comes to it's conclusion\, the night is just beginning! A street dance will follow with music by the Old Country Boys\, and people are encouraged to bundle up and boogie the night away from 6:30-10:30pm! Music will fill the streets as people dance and warm up with beverages and heaters spaced around the area. To ensure fun for the whole family that day\, the afternoon will include a family friendly movie sponsored by Faribault Parks and Recreation at theThe Village Family Theaterat 3pm \, plus a vintage snowmobile slide in at 3pm. Additionally\, the Rice County Historical Society will be hosting an Christmas Open House at the Alexander Faribault House. The Paradise Center for the Arts has their holiday production "Coconuts and Mistletoe" that evening at 7:30pm.
